North Ayrshire is set to see drastic cuts to social care which will be restricted to critical care only, as a result of the huge deficit facing North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.
I have asked the Scottish Government to intervene and provide emergency funding so that these cuts do not go ahead from next month, including raising the issue in Parliament with Ministers and writing a letter to the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Local Government Shona Robison.
