Katy Clark is standing as Scottish Labour’s candidate in Cunninghame South at the Scottish Parliament elections.

Katy is fighting –

For jobs and opportunities with a guarantee of training or an apprenticeship for every young person, and an industrial strategy to rebuild the local economy prioritising job creation in our communities.

Against cuts to social care.  North Ayrshire is making 9% cuts and restricting social care to those needing critical care and East Ayrshire is cutting social care budgets by 10%. We need to be expanding care services, not cutting them.

To cut NHS waiting times, tackle the crisis in GP and dental services, to address poor morale amongst NHS staff and recruitment and retention in the health service including requiring medical and nursing staff to stay with the NHS for 5 years where we have paid for their training.
